I average 60 gold a night on this meta train. I am the very definition of causal boomer. Other things that make me gold: Fractals ( I've gotten personally burn out lately, so I only have been doing them once a week-ish), I pug my weekly clears in Raids (about 70-80 gold a week) and I roam in WvW (haven't track my earnings in there yet).
Karma: The fastest method to convert your Karma to Gold is to buy Orrian Jewelery Boxes from Karma merchants in Orr. Note that this method took a hefty hit in profits when Karma consumables were nerfed and the prices of lodestones fell. It is a pretty poor conversion rate, and you rely on the relatively rare lodestone drops from the boxes.
The VAST majority of my gold comes from doing the daily fractals. Fractal encryptions sell for 23-25 silver each, you get a decent quantity of unidentified gear, and you frequently get account-bound exotics that salvage for insignia or inscriptions (~50s each), and stabilizing matrices sell for around 26-29 silver each.
However XP is gained so fast, especially if you also use fireworks, boosters and the Halloween nutrients that gives extra XP that it was easy to level past where you can use the XP, and now the enrichment is just sitting there. Unlike any of the other enrichments which always gives you a benefit, even if a small one. albiner.
The skyscale doesn't cost much gold, the unavoidable gold costs only add up to about 40g. There are some items which need to be either crafted or bought from the TP (buying them is more expensive of course) and one collection gives you the option to skip each step using an item which costs about 5g to craft or about 6-7g to buy from the TP.
Most notable boosters are: Hero/Gold and Magic Find banners. Spirit Banners. Most Halloween foods/utilites (the MF boost with boons is best if you can sustain them) -Item boosters, celebration boosters, and MF boosters you will get over time, not usually worth the gems. Use the wiki to double check how they stack.
You can make ~20g/hr selling Wintersday Gifts if you can get into a good rhythm. It's only open until the 12th though, FYI. Do TD, open every crystal cache you find, craft ley-line tools with the sparks. Hundreds of gold easily gotten.
In Guild Wars 2, money is counted by the hundreds. That is, if you think of copper as pennies, once you get 100, that is now counted as a silver, or a dollar. Once you get 100 dollars, that becomes a well, a gold. There's no cute comparison for that one. In Guild Wars 1, there was no silver and especially no copper. Everything came in gold.
You won't make gold directly, but you safe gold. Oddly your daily for starters that 2 gold a day regardless if you do the PvP, wvw, pve, or a combination of any. The “hard” world bosses give 2 gold when you get the gold reward. Dragon storm gives 2 as well and if you want you can sell the mats for extras.
Guild Wars 2 has hundreds of items to acquire, materials to gather, and equipment to collect. If you ever decide to craft Legendary weapons, trinkets, or armors, you will find that you need hundreds of Mystic Coins.
